01 Rooted at the Front Line, Devoted to Learning
“Down‑to‑earth” is the key word Zhao Shuai chooses. He joined the Colourful after‑sales service team in 2018 and has been with the company for six years. Through continuous learning, he has now become a technical pillar of the after‑sales service team.

“When I first entered the industry, learning skills was my main task. As long as I had no service assignments, I would keep learning and practicing. Whenever I encountered something I didn’t understand, I would humbly ask the senior staff.” That is how he accumulated his skills, step by step. Soon, Zhao mastered the repair methods for common machine faults. Practice leads to true knowledge, but a solid theoretical foundation is the basis. Whenever an opportunity arose, Zhao actively participated in various maintenance skills training sessions to further improve his technical level.
Over time, Zhao gradually grew from an ordinary engineer into a technical backbone in the eyes of his colleagues. With his superb skills and attentive service, he “won” the hearts of customers. Whenever they encounter a fault, they naturally think of him first, and he has never let them down – each time resolving the problem successfully.

02 Where Mission Leads, Footsteps Follow

With the deepening of the national “Belt and Road” initiative, more and more Chinese equipment is being exported overseas. Many after‑sales service engineers are traveling between countries, unable to stay with their families for long periods. They shoulder responsibility and mission, bringing the brand of Chinese enterprises to overseas markets.

In early March, Colourful sent Zhao Shuai, a professional after‑sales service engineer, to Saudi Arabia to provide full technical support for a project. He helped the customer commission profile and door panel machines, quickly changed machine brackets, and also shared his knowledge and experience with the factory operators, teaching them how to handle possible production faults and how to maintain product components during routine inspections.
Having travelled far across the ocean, Zhao had to overcome a five‑hour time difference. He also happened to arrive during the holy month of Ramadan. “Do as the locals do” – respecting local culture and lifestyle – he adjusted his work pattern together with the customer to adapt to this special period.
People often ask Zhao: “Working abroad, dealing with all kinds of complex situations and service problems, isn’t it tough and exhausting?” He replies: “Wherever the mission leads, my footsteps follow! During my communication with customers, I can strongly feel their sincerity and warmth. When a customer picks up the finished product, shows a satisfied smile, and raises a thumb, it makes me feel that everything I do is worthwhile.” When he speaks, he is like a “compassionate and skilled doctor” – no matter what difficulties he faces, he always believes: “Stand firm despite a thousand strikes, let the winds blow from east, west, north, or south.”
